Dutch Oven cooking has become a favorite among Boy Scouts.  We have put together a page with tips for caring for your Dutch Oven as well as links to TONS of recipes.

BSA Troop 24 from Berkeley, CA had a wonderful web site including a page with links to troop web sites all over the country as well as some international links.  Unfortunately, the site seems to be shut down.  I will keep searching to see if they pop up somewhere new.

Troop 702 celebrated it's 25th anniversary in 2005!

Troop 702 is located in Capistrano Beach, California.
We are chartered by the concerned parents of Troop 702.
We are hosted by Capo Beach Calvary located at 25975 Domingo Ave, Capistrano Beach, CA 92624.
Our Scout Master is Mr. Nordskog.
Our Assistant Scout Masters are: Mr. Wendel,  Mr. Oberholtzer, Mr. Stewart,  Mr. Matthews and Mr. Baggs.

New Page Added:
A page for photos of our Eagles and their Projects has been started.  Click here to view the beginnings of what we hope will be a very large Eagle section.

We would love to add as many pictures as possible to this section.  If you have Troop 702 Eagle photos, please send them to the Webmaster email address on the left.

  • Sept. 26 - 28, 2008 -- Family Camp/Court of Honor at O'Neil Campground.
    Details to be discussed at 9/9/08 Troop Meeting. More info soon.

 
 
Note of interest:
 Orange County Council has made a change in the way they refer to the uniform choices.
Class A (full uniform) is now referred to as Field Uniform.
Class B (troop t-shirt with scout shorts or pants) is now referred to as Utility Uniform.
